The Greatest Gift and Honor

Yes, I DID use a line from Mulan for the title of this piece! I blame !

I spent about half an hour sitting here in front of this computer screen (well, I got up and walked around for a little bit), staring at this completed deviation, mentally and physically going through Zuko lines and Aang lines and Iroh lines and Mai lines and Ozai lines and Ursa lines and other lines, trying to come up with some sort of a name for this. Finally, I just settled on that title, as it has the word "honor" in it.

Still don't know the baby's gender...if knows, it might settle the problem.

So I did it!

I think the background turned out pretty darn good here...not so sure about the actual people, though.

Again, heavily influenced by with her work ( [link] ) and her love of Maiko babyfic and such that seems to be contagious.

So I drew this baby here.

And the little tyke has a LOT of hair...Zuko-esque hair....so the kid's probably about a week old right now.

Oh. I also don't know if Zuko has ANY idea how to hold a baby, so new parents and older siblings, don't try this at home. Zuko knows head support, at least.

I don't know if I have much else to say...except that you know that Mai and Zuko babies would be the cutest things ever, as Ali and rawles and so many others have reminded me many, many times.
