GARGOYLES

Well, this got out of hand rather quickly.

It started as a practice drawing of Demona, and then I decided to just make a few little practice pieces and upload a little scrap sheet...but while hunting for a Goliath reference, I wound up catching a picture of Bronx, and drew him. It was supposed to just be Goliath, Demona, Elisa, and Bronx, but the blending just wasn't working...so I added Xanatos to literally cover up the fact that I didn't want to work on Demona's lower half. It actually blended pretty well, but then I decided that it would be lonely for Bronx without the other guys...so I cut him. However, there was still a lot of empty space, so I went and, well...first I gave Bronx a spot, then I added Broadway, and then Lexington took the skies and Brooklyn joined him, and then Hudson went to keep Bronx company. Of course, after all the time I spent working on it, I noticed that Demona looked off, so I redrew her. After about six hours of working at this, I finally had a product that I was not only satisfied with, but actually impressed with.

I love this show.

I'm still in the middle of watching it, though, so PLEASE no spoilers, okay?

A lot of these poses were referenced...hey, these are my first times drawing the characters, gimme a break. And I tried to change things up as best I could. I think Goliath is the only one who ended up directly posed from his picture (wait, Hudson, too), but Goliath always looks like that, anyway.

I hope I can make more fanart of this show, as I actually didn't even get to draw what I wanted to...heh.
