Zutara finally has that fighting chance it's been waiting for. I say "fighting chance" and not "victory" because I'm accepting no resolution yet. It certainly seems like it's being promoted, all right, so it IS being promoted, but I was never against Zutara because I couldn't see the foreshadowings and possibilities. I still am not sure exactly how it will work itself into the plot, but I can no longer merely claim that it will not happen. With a healthy chunk of the clips in the preview featuring both of them, it seems that they're acctually leaning towards promoting it.

I am still hopeful for Kataang and Maiko, though my confidence has been shaken severely. Sukka is a total greenlight.

And let me say this: the clips in the trailer do not make me think that Zutara is going to happen. No. Rather, it's the fact that they chose to fill the trailer with those clips that suggests that they're sending a message.

Now, I have more information that I'm going to have to acquire, but for now, let me spazz a little about the trailer:

Now, as for Zutara discussion....again, it's only the fact that they're choosing to show so much of it there that makes me give it a chance. As it is, those two work as foils for one another--the two main secondary characters and Aang's two greatest influences. It could be non-shipping-related, in all logical sense. Perhaps it's a friend-hug Katara is giving. Thanks for something. Who knows?

All I know is that I still empathize with Aang too much to just let the kid down like that. The same applies to Mai.

I'm taking a "wait-and-see" attitude with this show now, and with shipping in general. I'm going to expand my knowledge now by exploring other bits of info.
