So earlier tonight, I was prowling the internet looking for some way to find relief from the fantagonistic mood I was in, and somehow, I actually found it in the form of a LiveJournal entry by which described a dream she had where she was in the Jasmine Dragon making chocolate muffins with Uncle Iroh.


Now, as you all know, no one is better than Uncle Iroh at making someone feel better. As you should also know, no one can stay mad when there are muffins in the room--especially fresh muffins. And as everyone who watches me has probably figured out by now, few things make me feel better than drawing Mai and Iroh together.

AKA, this HAD to be drawn. I can't draw , but I CAN draw Mai. So I did.

And talk about sinking multiple turtleducks with one stone (that's a horrible expression, and may I never use it again). I vent some pent-up frustration, get a good piece into my gallery, do something productive in the evening, bring an adorable journal entry to life, AND, as if that weren't enough, today is IROH DAY for Avatar Month! So I get THAT done, TOO!!!

Everything's perfect in the world at the moment. At 3:00 in the morning. My bed has been screaming for my attention for the past two hours, and it's right by my head...forgive me for any drawing errors, I fixed the bad ones.

I think Iroh's right mitt is more proportional, but I definitely like his left dragon more. Mai's apron turned out pretty well, too. Oh, and I changed her hairstyle a bit...she can't have hair dangling down like that while she's cooking!

The background was a rushed job. I blurred it a lot...dream-like, you know? And nothing says "kitchen" like a few ladles hanging from the cabinets.

So, ta-da!
